Our well established client is Koinonia Primary Care PC a group Primary Care Clinic in Albany New York. The Medical Director is Robert J. Paeglow M.D.,a highly respected physician and humanitarian, who has been awarded the
2009 Jefferson Award for outstanding Community Service.
In 2006 Dr Paeglow was honored by Pfizer Inc with the AAMC "Humanism in Medicine" Award.

At Netprophets we work very hard to maximize the potential insurance reimbursement for Koinonia Healthcare, so they can keep their doors open, and continue to help their community. We support Dr Bob, his staff, and his extraordinary mission of which we are privileged to play a small part. Dr Paeglow's office has been approved by the State of NY department of Health, to open as a Non Profit multi-service clinic in 2009, and continue to raise funds for necessary facility renovations.

Managing the Koinonia billing "Day to Day:"
As of July 2009, we have taken on a new role, as remote desktop users for the ECLINICAL Works EMR/PA system at Koinonia. This program is truly amazing, and we have been able to integrate our services and experience with the new EMR system housed in NY. We remotely manage the entire billing process from our office in New York. With this setup, sending the superbills is not needed. Fax is used for EOBs and other correspondence, although most insurance EOBS are received via ERA (electronic remittance advice).
Using the Lytec Billing Program, the staff at KPC send their superbills, explanation of benefits and other insurance correspondence to us via fax. The Superbills are ICD-9 coded (an optional service) and charges are posted usually within 48 hours. Claims are electronically sent through Emdeon, with edits/correction immediately resolved. All potential Superbill charges are "reconciled" through Crystal Reports to ensure no completed visit goes unbilled. Reports are faxed or emailed to Koinonia on a regular basis. Reports are also available to be printed on their end at any time 24/7. Accounts can be viewed "real time" as data is being entered. Denials are quickly addressed, incorrect insurance information is corrected, and the A/R is reviewed regularly. Any problems or concerns can be easily addressed by a quick phone call or email. Our staff is readily available for technical and billing support. Patients calls are handled in a professional and respectful manner. Patients can even call us from the medical office if they have a question about a statement.
